Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Austin PCC website (pccaustin.org), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Membership

• Membership is open to businesses, organizations, and individuals involved in the postal and mailing industry, as well as USPS employees.
• Paying members are required to pay annual dues to maintain active status. Dues amounts are set by the board and communicated at the time of registration or renewal.
• USPS employees with a @usps.gov email address receive a free postal membership per USPS policy and are never charged dues.
• The board reserves the right to change membership type, modify dues amounts, or revoke membership at its discretion.
• Membership dues are non-refundable once processed.

Events

• Active paying members attend most events at no additional cost. Postal members and non-members may be charged an event fee as listed on each event page.
• RSVPs may be cancelled by the member at any time before the event. Event fees paid via PayPal are subject to PayPal's refund policies.
• Austin PCC reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify events. Registered attendees will be notified of any changes.

User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information in your profile.
• You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent (board members may invite new members via the administrative portal).

Member Directory

The member directory is available only to active and postal members. Information displayed in the directory is controlled by each member's privacy settings. You agree not to use directory information for unsolicited commercial purposes, spam, or any use unrelated to Austin PCC business.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or administrative functions
• Harvest or collect member information from the directory for commercial solicitation
• Submit false or misleading information in your profile, event registrations, or communications

Payments

All payments are processed through PayPal. Austin PCC does not store credit card numbers or bank account information. By making a payment, you also agree to PayPal's terms of service and privacy policy.

Limitation of Liability

Austin PCC is a volunteer-run organization operating as a program of the United States Postal Service. The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Austin PCC and its board members shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or participation in events.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated to members via email.
