The Austin PCC is excited to host a Beginner’s Guide to Postal Emerging Technologies. The United States Postal Service has recognized that many transactions of the future will start in the digital world. E-commerce, e-marketing and e-mail aren’t the killers of traditional mail, but instead can be the impetus of new mail transactions that lead to a better customer experience and a more complete marketing campaign. To that end, USPS has introduce several Emerging Technology promotions that our members need to take advantage of, but entry into these technologies can be daunting.

The Austin PCC aims to take the intimidation out of entering this new technological space as it hosts a symposium on Emerging Technologies where we’ll have Industry content experts provide a beginners guide to Augmented Reality, Digital to Direct and Video in Print. Each of our speakers have been asked to give us details about overcoming barriers to entry, initial startup requirements and general budget requirements. We’ve also asked them to provide examples of both successful and unsuccessful campaigns so we can understand fundamentally the best ways to execute with these technologies.
